RESEARCHER BIO
Henriette is a PhD student at the Faculty of Health Sciences at Oslo Metropolitan University. She completed her bachelor degree in physiotherapy in 2014 from University College Nordjylland and her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2017 from Oslo Metropolitan University. Henriette is a physiotherapist working in primary care with musculoskeletal disorders besides her PhD position.

Henriette’s research focus is the epidemiology of musculoskeletal pain in adolescents and young adults. She is currently investigating risk factors for musculoskeletal pain in adolescents and young adults in Norwegian population-based studies.

HEYoung project
Mental and musculoskeletal health in the transition from adolescence to adulthood
In this project, we aim at following a large cohort of young adults (16 - 26 years of age) for 10 years to assess potential risk factors, risk profiles and risk trajectories for mental and musculoskeletal disorders. Read more about the project here.
