RESEARCHER BIO
Kaja is a PhD student at the Faculty of Health Sciences at Oslo Metropolitan University. She has worked as a physiotherapist since 2010, primarily with patients with musculoskeletal pain. In 2016 she completed her Master`s degree in Physiotherapy with a specialization in musculoskeletal health at Oslo Metropolitan University.
Kaja`s PhD research is focusing on musculoskeletal pain in adolescents and young adults. She is currently working on studies investigating risk factors for persistent musculoskeletal pain in youth, using data from population-based health studies in Norway.

HEYoung project
Mental and musculoskeletal health in the transition from adolescence to adulthood
In this project, we aim at following a large cohort of young adults (16 - 26 years of age) for 10 years to assess potential risk factors, risk profiles and risk trajectories for mental and musculoskeletal disorders. Read more about the project here.
