RESEARCHER BIO
Kirsti is an associate professor at the Department of Physiotherapy, Faculty of Health Sciences. Her research interests are physical activity, health-related quality of life and health literacy in children and adolescents. She teaches courses in pediatric physiotherapy and supervises master- and PhD students in topics related young people's health and quality of life. Kirsti is a member of the MUSKHealth research group at OsloMet and the national research networks LIVSFORSK (Quality of life research), HELINOR (Health Literacy research in Norway) and CHIP (Children in Palliative Care).

HEYoung project
Mental and musculoskeletal health in the transition from adolescence to adulthood
In this project, we aim at following a large cohort of young adults (16 - 26 years of age) for 10 years to assess potential risk factors, risk profiles and risk trajectories for mental and musculoskeletal disorders. Read more about the project here.
