RESEARCHER BIO

Tarjei is a PhD student at the Faculty of Health Sciences at Oslo Metropolitan University. He completed his Master's degree in Physiotherapy Sciences in 2015 from the University of Bergen. Tarjei is a physiotherapist who has worked in primary care with patients with musculoskeletal pain disorders. Since 2010 he has been a lecturer at the Department of Physiotherapy at Oslo Metropolitan University. 

Tarjei's PhD research focus is on the prognosis of workers on sick leave due to musculoskeletal disorders. He is currently investigating the quality of commonly used prognostic models for long-term sickness absence in a systematic review. Also, he is assessing the external validity of some commonly used models in a sample of Norwegian workers on sick leave due to musculoskeletal disorders.
